Sleep? Who needs sleep?

Oh, my Gosh! Sometimes, I can be SO DUMB & such a KLUTZ, that it's not EVEN funny!!! Ahhh!!!! Okay. So I'm siting in my Lazyboy, watching in total amazement at all the 100 or more little Song Sparrows that were busily gathering into a mass feeding frenzy just below the feeders, less then 6 inches from my living room window when "it" happens. I don't know how long I'd been watching them when suddenly, I'd felt this cold sensation that began at the top of my right thigh then, travels down over the side of my upper leg & UP toward my right hip! I froze! I thinking, "What on earth? Is this a new MS symptom? or maybe a warning that something's wrong?" I decided it must be from sitting too long. As I slowly move out of the recliner, this cold sensation instantly increases on my upper thigh! At the same time, I notice the sparrows I'd been watching were no longer there. How was that even possible? There's no way all those birds flew off without me noticing! Could they?? So now, I'm starting to get a little freaked out & jump up to further investigate. That's when my coffee mug hit the floor.... Looking down at my jeans, it was clear the upper right leg was wet. As was the recliner. And the microfiber blanket throw. Oh. and, the the floor where the mug had landed, too. And, the moral of this story is? Never, EVER hold a full cçup of hot or cold coffee (or any liquid for that matter!) either in bed or in a chair, when you've had only 4-6 hours sleep in 5 days. Difficulty sleeping goes hand in hand with MS & Fibromylgia, so I've learned to adjust. But, some days are more difficult than others. Obviously! lol Eh! Sleep is way overrated anyway! :P

A Masterpeice

I think these last few days may have kick-started the buds on my Popular & White Paper Birch trees to open! Last Friday, you could barely even SEE any buds on the trees!! But now? Their leaves had unfurled sometime between early last evening just after sundown & before sunrise this morning. Literally, overnight! So, I went for my first Mammogram yesterday. A Baseline it's called. I wasn't really nervous. I just felt awkward standing there having this woman I did not know pushing & pulling on my breasts that way.
I didn't know what to do with my hands, of all things. Between pictures, (they take four total. Two positions for each side), instinctively, I wanted to cover my bare breasts yet, I forced my self  to keep my hands to my sides and tried to act casual. I wanted to appear as though I wasn't ashamed or embarrassed but... I WAS!! 

I failed miserably. Epically! I mean, just how does one appear casual when you're standing there in your jeans, naked from the waste up, sucking in your gut cuz you got 20 pounds of extra belly bulge hanging over your belt because you'd forgotten about this appointment when you'd put on the tightest jeans you own that morning? Yeah. I was casual and cool as a flippen cucumber!
